Jared Williams excelled as a dual-sport athlete (baseball & football) at DeMatha Catholic High School. He attended Wagner College in Staten Island, NY, and continued to play both sports. His sophomore year, he broke 2 conference tournament records (stolen bases and home runs). As a player, he was a fierce competitor with tremendous ability. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and was the number 1 overall pick to the South Coast League of professional baseball. He played for two teams in the South Coast League (Anderson and Charlotte County). He retired from baseball in 2007 and started his coaching, training, and teaching career. In 2014, he earned a master’s degree in special education from Walden University. He was a head coach and top-tiered instructor with DC Dynasty for 12 years. He currently serves as a head coach and hitting instructor with the Mitchell Marlins. He served as the head coach of Archbishop Carroll High School, an assistant coach at DeMatha, and Georgetown Day School. Jared has a vast knowledge of the game and takes pride in giving attention to each player he coaches. Jared specializes in the outfield and hitting. He is also an excellent coach in the areas of strength, conditioning, speed, and agility. Jared will now serve as the Director of Baseball Programming at The Campus.
